By purchasing a ticket and entering our premises, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Meeple village is a role play center for delicate imaginative play NOT a soft play center for high energy release. Running around the village is prohibited as it can and will lead to accidents. It is also prohibited to run up and down from floor to floor.
The role play area is for use of children 6 months to 6 years and a height of 120cm. Any crawler or child must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No-one under the age of 18 years is permitted entry into the role play area without an accompanying adult.
Bookings over 4 children in the same group per session are not permitted unless authorised.
All parents/guardians acknowledge that Meeple Village is not a supervisory play centre and accept full responsibility for the supervision of the children in their care at all times.
The ticket price includes admission to the role play village, craft table and board games
One child ticket entitles a child entry to Meeple Village for one allocated play session.
If you (the customer) pre books tickets and do not allocate/book a space for all in your party attending, Meeple Village reserve the right to refuse entry if the maximum capacity has been reached on that session. A refund will not be given and only those booked will be permitted entry.
All children must pay admission to enter the role play area.
‘A crawler‘ is an infant not yet walking without support of an adult.
A ‘child’ is any infant, toddler of child that is walking or can manoeuvre around a building unaided.
An ‘adult’ is a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years entering Meeple Village with a ‘child’ or ‘crawler’.
Where tickets are purchased on behalf of others, the buyer accepts responsibility for notifying all those in their party of the terms and conditions.
Transfers for any pre booked tickets are only available where Meeple Village receive notice a minimum of 24 hours prior to the start time of the session booked. There are no exceptions to this rule, the transfer policy applies in all circumstances including but not limited to; adverse weather, childhood illness, difficulty locating a parking space, roadworks or traffic incidents.
Ticket prices are listed in GBP on our website but may change at any time. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors after booking.
When you purchase a ticket from our website, you will receive an email confirmation. This email constitutes proof of booking however it is not proof of payment. A further email will be sent from our payment merchant as proof of purchase. Please always ensure that you have the booking confirmation number and the name of the person who booked when you arrive at the main entrance of Meeple Village.
It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of the session date and time on your email confirmation. Mistakes cannot always be rectified and entry will only be permitted for the number of tickets stated on the confirmation.
Sessions Times and Closure
We operate pre-defined play sessions. You may turn up at any time during a play session but you will be required to leave at the end of that session even if you have not been there for the full 90 minutes. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your session and we cannot be held responsible for any delays you may experience. Refunds will not be given if you miss your session or part of it.
Meeple Village reserve the right to close all or part of the village at any time if deemed necessary for the safety and security of guests and staff. Customers will be offered the opportunity to re book their tickets within 1 months or a full refund will be given.
Photography
We allow photographs to be taken by customers of their children. We ask that all visitors are careful to avoid taking pictures of other children.
Meeple Village cannot be held responsible for any images posted on to public websites without prior permission from the persons in the photograph or their guardians.
Meeple Village will never share still images of visitors and their children on our website or social media pages without prior agreement in writing with those concerned.
Rules of Entry
Meeple Village does not accept responsibly for the supervision of children within the premises, therefore all children must be supervised by a responsible adult/guardian at all times, with at least 1 adult per 4 children
To prevent the spread of infection, children who are unwell, or who have been unwell, must not visit the centre for 48 hours. Refunds will not be given and transfers require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
If a child or adult visiting us is sick or infectious whilst onsite they must leave immediately or will be asked to do so. No refunds or credits will be offered in these circumstances.
Meeple Village reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask a person to leave if they do not abide by our rules, if they pose a danger or threat of staff or customers, for any illegal activities or offensive behaviour. Fighting, bullying and abusive language will not be tolerated. Guilty parties will not receive a refund if asked to leave for these reasons.
Any person causing wilful damage to the facilities, fixtures or fittings of Meeple Village will be liable to pay for any damage caused. This includes any damage caused by misuse of equipment and/or failure to abide by our Rules of Entry and Rules of Play.
With the exception of Exclusive Hire or arrangements agreed privately with management, visitors may not bring in outside food and drink into Meeple Village.
Visitors must remove their shoes and wear socks in the play areas. There is no exception to this rule.
Smoking is prohibited inside Meeple Village and this includes the use of e cigarettes.
In order to ensure all visitors have an enjoyable experience, please call us if you or your child has a disability, medical condition or other educational need that may impact upon your visit to us. We will endeavour to put in place any appropriate arrangements to cater for your needs.
Security and Safety
CCTV is in operation throughout Meeple Village and is covered in our Privacy Policy.
All personal belongings and property brought into Meeple Village by visitors is done so at the owners own risk. Meeple Village accept no liability for any loss or damage to such property during a visit.
